Monday, 12 October 2026. Today’s edition uses €30 of the fictional €50 ceiling across three straight singles and leaves €20 unallocated. Prices were observed at 05:58 IST on 12 October. The source bar matters more than filling a quota: events without sufficiently coherent fixture, lineup and price evidence were passed.
This article follows the site’s methodology. The early archive remains unaudited—including the assumed 1.89 Chiefs price from 20 September—and is not included in the verified profit/loss below.

| Total | €42.00 staked | 2 wins, 3 losses | €35.52 | Net −€6.48 |
Settlement used the published markets: the football total and moneyline were graded after 90 minutes plus stoppage time under the BetVictor football rules; the NFL and NHL moneylines use the final game result, including overtime where applicable, under the FanDuel house rules. In practice, all five outcomes were decided in regulation. Arithmetic: €21.60 + €13.92 = €35.52 returned; €35.52 − €42.00 = −€6.48.

Prices above come from event-specific FanDuel research pages and were recorded at 05:58 IST: Panthers–Sabres, Devils–Senators, and Rams–Bills. Prices can move; the audit will use the numbers printed here.
1. Buffalo Sabres moneyline — €10 at 1.9259
The official NHL preview confirms an 18:00 Ireland start and records of Florida 2–1–2 and Buffalo 2–3. It also lists Aleksander Barkov, Brad Marchand and Jonah Gadjovich among Florida’s injured players, while Buffalo has its own absences and may regain Konsta Helenius and Jiri Kulich. FanDuel’s model gives Buffalo 67.4%, well above the price’s 51.92% break-even threshold.
Counterargument and uncertainty: Buffalo is 2–3 and also lost 4–1 on Saturday; Alex Lyon, Conor Timmins and Jason Zucker are listed out. The 67.4% figure is one provider model, not a calibrated house estimate. The selection is therefore a modest €10, not a claim that a measured edge exists.
2. Ottawa Senators moneyline — €10 at 2.12
The official Devils preview sets puck drop at 00:08 Ireland on Tuesday. Ottawa arrives 4–1; Tim Stützle has four goals and eight points, while Linus Ullmark is 4–0 with a 1.34 goals-against average and .942 save percentage. FanDuel’s model makes Ottawa 59.3%; the +112 price needs 47.17% to break even.
Counterargument and uncertainty: New Jersey is at home and scored three power-play goals in its 4–1 win over Vancouver. Ottawa’s defence is not intact: Jake Sanderson is day-to-day and Artem Zub is on injured reserve. Short-run goalie numbers can swing quickly, so this is capped at €10.
3. Buffalo Bills +3.5 — €10 at 1.8475
The official Bills game page confirms the 3–1 Bills visit the 2–2 Rams at 01:15 Ireland on Tuesday. The half-point matters: Buffalo can lose by a field goal and still cover. Buffalo is 3–1 against the spread, and three of the five score predictions in the NFL.com expert panel imply a Bills +3.5 cover.
Counterargument and uncertainty: The same NFL panel notes Buffalo sits in the bottom 10 in scoring and total defence while the Rams are top 10 in both. Buffalo’s official injury report rules out Ed Oliver and Joshua Palmer and lists several others questionable; the Rams expect Aaron Donald, Colby Parkinson and Tre Watson to be available. At 1.8475 the line requires 54.13%, so the evidence is not strong enough for more than €10.
Researched, then passed
| Event | Observed market | Why no selection |
|---|---|---|
| Vegas Golden Knights at Minnesota Wild, 01:00 Tue | Wild −120 / 1.8333; Vegas +100 / 2.00 | The model favoured Minnesota, but final lineup and injury evidence was not coherent enough at observation time. |
| LA Dodgers at Milwaukee Brewers, 22:00 Mon | Dodgers −126; Brewers +108 | The provider’s listed pitchers conflicted with the official series coverage, so the price could not be evaluated against a confirmed matchup. |
| Cleveland Guardians at Tampa Bay Rays, 01:00 Tue | Rays −164; Guardians +138 | The official MLB preview confirmed the matchup, but FanDuel’s probabilities were below the relevant price-implied break-even rate on both sides. |
Worked lesson: a model gap is not automatically an edge
Buffalo’s −108 converts to decimal 1.9259 and an implied break-even probability of 1 ÷ 1.9259 = 51.92%. If the displayed 67.4% model were perfectly calibrated, expected profit per €1 would be (0.674 × 1.9259) − 1 = about €0.30. But if the true chance were only 52%, the same calculation becomes roughly €0.002 per €1—effectively zero before considering limits, price movement or model error. A 15.4-point probability miss would erase the apparent gap.
That is why this edition does not label any pick “value” or assert a measured edge. The €20 reserve is an active decision: €10 + €10 + €10 + €20 unallocated = €50. If all three singles win, returns are €19.26 + €21.20 + €18.47 = €58.93; adding the untouched €20 would leave €78.93, a maximum card gain of €28.93.
